Three Clans, One Code

Japan's underworld is dominated by 3 prominent clans, each is vying for more power, control and money...

There is a lot of money to be made. Are you going to be the one to make it?

Yakuza Clans will establish a social media mafia with traditional Yakuza roles: oyabuns, wakagashiras, shateigashiras, and kobuns. Empowering community members through raids and coordinated buys of other tokens

Yamaguchi-gumi
山菱

Japan's largest yakuza organization, originating as a dockworkers' labor union in Kobe in 1915. It is one of the world's largest and wealthiest criminal organizations, profiting from activities like extortion, gambling, and drug trafficking. It's headquarters in Kobe, but it operates all across Japan and has overseas operations

Sumiyoshi-kai
住吉会

Japan's second-largest yakuza organization, controls territories in upscale districts like Kabukichō and Ginza, with shops often paying "mikajime-ryō" protection fees. Unlike the centralized Yamaguchi-gumi, the Sumiyoshi-kai operates as a federation as a federation of smaller gangs, delegating power to affiliate clan leaders. Founded in 1958

Inagawa-kai
稲川会

The Inagawa-kai, founded in 1949 by Kakuji Inagawa in Atami, Shizuoka, began as a gambling-focused yakuza group but later expanded into drug trafficking, extortion, and prostitution. Under Susumu Ishii's leadership during Japan's 1980s bubble economy, the clan achieved financial prosperity, with assets exceeding $1.5 billion at its peak

The modern yakuzas derive from two social classifications which emerged in the mid-Edo period (1603–1868) tekiya (peddlers of illicit or shoddy goods) and bakuto (gamblers).

Tekiya

Tekiya, one of the lowest social classes, formed structured organizations to provide protection during commerce and festivals, with oyabun at the top of a familial hierarchy

Bakuto

Bakuto, operating illegal gambling houses often in temples or shrines, had an even lower social standing and were widely disdained, contributing to the negative image of the yakuza

Modern Tekiya - Social Media

Modern Tekiya, one of the lowest social classes, formed structured organizations to provide self promotion and paid influence across multiple platforms

Modern Bakuto - Decentralized Finance

Modern Bakuto, operating legal meme coin gambles, had an even lower social standing and were widely disdained, but produced many 1000x calls
